With no Lodestar in Sight

Photobucket
I love the small gauged - but hate the way it takes for-bloody-ever to make progress on it. I'm an impatient knitter with the patience of a saint (or perhaps that should be "persistence" of a saint...)
Therefore, I have little to show of my most recent love, the lace project I'm calling Lodestar.
Hope to have updates very soon.

I agree completely - I have two small-guage vests on the needles that are taking For.Evah! When the knitting is finished, it's well worth it, but the time it takes is maddening. :)

I bought Twinkle's book, which is all large guage knitting, but I haven't made naything from it - like you, I really like the little needles...

I know just what you mean, with the patience to keep going but you really really just want that FO! Good luck.

I can't wait to see more of this one -- the colors are so buttery and pretty. Also, thanks for playing along with the "7 random facts" meme. Our birthday is the coolest -- not only is it symmetrical, but the coinciding with Talk Like a Pirate Day makes things even more fun.
