These images I tend to collect.
I have a folder (and I've honestly titled it "Inspiration", and it sleeps in my filing cabinet next to my desk).
The mosaic above is a collection of (a very few) of those such images.
It's also a thing or two that lies around my apartment, adding a bit of loveliness to my everyday.
There is also a great number of sketches in this folder. I've spared you all the eye-offending experience that posting most of those images would be. The only one included is that peacock in the bottom row, giving us all a bit of a questioning glance.
Do you have a place where you collect thesesuch images? Carry a sketchbook? I've been thinking that would be a much better approach than grabbing random scraps of paper!

Yes, I do. Pinterest. I'd follow you if you had one, do you?
I have an inspiration folder too, couldn't be without it!
I agree with the first comment. Pinterest is my inspiration folder these days.
My first thought was Pinterest, too. I've just started, and it's very cool.
I've never heard of PInterest...I mostly just use bookmarks. I have a bookmark folder called "Crafts" and it basically contains every artist I've ever loved in it. Kind of overwhelming, actually. But that's where I draw most of my inspiration from.
I definitely use Pinterest, it's the best thing on the internet since ravelry, as far as my internet habits are concerned. I also use a notebook, and i sketch ideas make notes and put in photos torn from magazines that I particularly like. Teresa, if you need a Pinterest invitation, let me know!
I loved seeing some of your tidbits of inspiration (and that peacock is amazing)! Mine are completely scattered...I have a folder on my shelf, a folder in a filing thingy, a sketch book that I also use to work out pattern math, a section of a little notebook I carry in my purse, my iPad, my phone...sounds like maybe a Pinterest account would do me some good, too!
I use evernote now, but I've long had a folder on my computer, which I keep synced to my iPhone for reference. Then I can have my inspiration with me everywhere. I don't sketch much, and would love to do more.
