Things Bounding Around in my Head

I have a new favourite song. It's not getting out of my head.
It's been bounding around in there, amongst other things, for days & days.
Admittedly, this could be because I have something of a thing for Sam Roberts.

On more topical topics:

I will say that I have a few patterns involved in the aforementioned brain-bounding, including one inspired by a big wooden button recently purchased.

If you had one fantastic button you wanted to showcase in a knit, how would you do it/where would you put it? I'm thinking something along the lines of a wrappy-cardi-toppy-sweater.
Stay tuned.

So funny - I've been driving my kids nuts with the same song all day...great minds, I guess...

Ooh, I like that song. Very catchy. Are you a Stars fan? That's kind of what it reminds me of.

Thanks for posting that video!! Our old townhouse faced that building shown on the preview page (you can see it really quick in the video!) Great song and loved seeing my old 'hood.

I agree, a wrappy-cardi-toppy-sweater with just one magnificent button for closure would be perfect.

What a great song! It's now in my head, too, and I guarantee that I will have purchased it by the end of the day. (And that Sam Roberts is C-U-T-E!)

As for the one fabulous button...I completely agree with the wrappy-cardi idea.

If i had an awesome button i would use it as sort of a wrap tab at the neck of a sweater (kind of like the snap sometime seen on a bomber jacket at the neck) unless its flipping huge...then there is always a drapey cardigan
