Made Me Laugh

Quick postie today:

I was informed about this funny video about a knitting prank pulled on Julia Roberts. It's really kind of cute.

It's from the set of her latest movie, Larry Crowne.

I've also been contacted for a giveaway! Anyone who'd like to get in on the following prizes can just leave me a message on this post. I'll select a randomly generated winner on Monday July 18.

One (1) winner will receive:

· $25 Fandango Gift Card to see Larry Crowne
· Larry Crowne t-shirt & notebook

Prizing courtesy of Universal Pictures

Good Luck all :)

Thanks for sharing! I'd like to know if any of those people got hooked. Perhaps someone should have warned them that knitting is addictive (and expensive).

Ok, this is pretty cute! It's pretty charming to see how tickled Julia was!

Only thing that would have made that better is if they'd actually successfully managed to teach everyone to knit, so they'd all be there actually knitting away when she came in. Regardless, though, pretty cute.

It is interesting that we (knitters) are important enough to warrant giveaways from movie people! Very cool. I love Tom Hanks and will definitely go see this movie.

Haha, that's so cute! My favorite part is just after the lady in the green sweater finished explaining how to do a knit stitch, there's a guy in a white shirt behind her kind of stabbing his needles together and looking utterly perplexed. I lol'ed!
