Camping in a Camper is still Camping

I've had me a long weekend break! While very little knitting was done, I do have some pretty photos to share.
It was 4 days in a camper with the whole fam. Food was roasted, smores were ingested, canoes were paddled and novels were read.

Photobucket
Duckweed, floating happily on the surface of a small pond along a trail.

Photobucket
Cute wee froggy, who was rather dazed and unhappy by my camera's bright flash during our night time hike.

Photobucket
Me having fun with the nighttime setting on my camera. Check out my brother's cool blue flashlight.

Photobucket
Taking pics as I go for a ride in the canoe.

Standing atop a lookout tower, giving a nice view of the lake and surrounding forest.

Great photos!

And I LOVE the knitted poncho/tube/capelet (I don't know what to call it) garment in the flashlight photo!

I agree that camping in a trailer is SO camping. I have a really hard time sleeping in a tent....I'm not afraid of the animals so much, it's more the two legged variety that freak me out. I also love the capelet you are wearing in the flashlight picture! What pattern is that?
