I have, sadly, not much to show.
After being inspired by Drop Kick Girl's Bed Jacket, I powered through my very own version. But the jacket, it is not done. The tres belle edging along cuffs and, well, the edges, is draining. I haven't gotten into the groove of it. Here is my sad progress:
And here is what the jacket looks like so far:
I used Bernat Satin, in Sea Shell. It took about seven balls. It's very smooth and feels wonderful against the skin.
Wanna see what else I've been up to?
Well, since I've had some casting-on fever:
Bee Striped Socks - my first socks!
Sweater I'm designing for myself out of Rowan Tapestry
Second Silk Corset - in and orange Alchemy *drool*
I hope to be able to show some progress, and be bitten by the "Finishing Bug". That sucker is a rare one.

All of your progress is putting mine to shame. I'm a slow poke lately. Great work so far. Keep it up.

I'm also feeling the shame of the WIP you have up here. I am loveing that bed jacket, it's really pretty.
Thanks so much - I hope I can get motivated soon!
The progress on your bed jacket is great.
I have a question about the collar. I've actually completed the Romantic Style dressing gown but am also stalled because for some reason the collar escapes me. Did you knit the collar separately and sew it on? I'm thrown off by "Collar starts at left shoulder end" and the sewing of the shoulder seams after the collar. I just can't visualize it.
I'd appreciate any guidance you could give. You can email me at fiberlyone
Thanks for the very quick reply. Okay. I'll just knit that collar up and see how it goes.
