It's not my fault!

This is the progress I've gotten to on the Fair Isle U-Neck:

Yes, it's almost done. And I would have it done by the deadline (February 28) if not for the fact that I've finished off the only skein of black yarn. I did buy the amount required, but I think my inexperience with fair isle has lead me to misuse the yarn I did purchase.
It's been ordered; now the wait begins!
I think I'll be keeping myself busy weaving in ends. So very many ends.

Looks great! I hate running out of yarn...

Why thank you!

I'm not "worried" about the deadlines - it's just fun to see if I can meet them. (yes, my very preverted sense of fun. I also find office organization stores fun. Bizzaro mind).

ilix, this is simply a self-imposed deadline. I'm not sure I could handle a sweater a month. I just might keel over. Kudos to anyone who can do it!

robin, thanks so much! Grrr, running out of yarn makes my blood boil! I can't wait to wear this sucker!

I love the ocean! We should have like a knitting field trip to BC, we could lock ourselves in some cabin with 62 bottles of wine, and 40 different kinds of cheese, eith 12 choclate cakes, both cheesecake and not, and 1000s of balls of yarn!

Gtg, I'm upset now that that isn't my life already...
