As my current knits are not the addictive habits that they once were (being either too intricate for my current tastes, or not turning out as envisioned), I've turned to the goodies purchased on my latest jaunt outside my city.
This weekend was another Ottawa weekend. I won't burden you with yet more pictures of this very picturesque city (but if you're reaaally curious, see here), but I will show you my feathery distraction:
I recognize the very thin line I'm walking here between beautiful jewellery and fishing lure, but the peacock plumage I could not resist.
But for now, I must be off for my first violin lesson.
I love me those string instruments!

I think it's gorgeous! And no, I did not think "fishing lure" even for a sec. Good luck with the violin lesson. My daughter did that in 1st and 2nd grade as part of her school curriculum and it was...difficult.
that necklace gorgeous and perfect for summer! Good luck with the violin! I think it's great that you are starting to learn.

I love peacocks and a peacock feather is a sign of good luck, so wear away woth pride, it's gorgeous.
Thanks - I didn't know it was a good luck sign! I love the deep blue and green.
