Here's that news I was hinting at earlier:
I'm going to Europe. In the autumn, but who says it's too early to dream n' drool?
I'll be blogging about it here.
Any and all input would be much appreciated.
I love planning, and I'm reveling in that as we speak (uh... type. Read? Well, right now!)

So exciting! I'll be spending my fall in London for a study abroad program, but it hasn't really sunk in yet. You have inspired me to start planning! A blog would be a good way to keep things organized.
Ooh, that's incredible news!! I love Paris, it's one of my favourite cities. I can't wait to follow the adventures!

Congratulations! That's so exciting. I just skimmed your first couple of posts on the travel blog, and I think you made the right decision to add Florence to the list. It would be an absolute shame for an Art History major to miss it. If you're into the ancient stuff as well, there's apparently a fantastic Etruscan museum just outside of Rome (I'm dying to see it!). Anyway, I can't wait to read about your future adventures!
Thanks all for the happy thoughts! Now, off to actually knit...
You are so so lucky! I am wishing I could go, too. I have been to London twice (would love to live there) and Paris once. If you are a Monet lover, see if you can do a trip to Giverney; it is so beautiful and really neat to see the wisteria bridge and the waterlilies. My favorite museum in the entire world is the Victoria and Albert; I could literally spend days in there! Have so much fun you will love it. Oh, and the one piece of advice I can give you about Paris is this: stay away from the touristy resteraunts like the American Club, etc., and eat at little bistros and cafes that you ust come upon. They are cheaper and have much better food and you can soak in the Parisian ambiance.
I put a link to your site on my blog Dropped Stitches. It's new, so there's not a lot of content. Have a great trip, happy knitting!
