I've cut my sweater in half.
I think that's all I'm prepared to say at this juncture.
Any suggestions as to what I can do with the relinquished yarn in all its fair-isle glory, please let me know.
(the yarn is KnitPicks Merino Style)
Sewing galore:
A rather large pillowcase
and the possibilities of an adorable Bantam Chicken

If you're not going to re-make the sweater, I think the knitted pieces and motifs would mave a lovely little bag!
and your sewing projects look lovely! Can't wait to see the finished products...
Well, this suggestion might not fit in with your decor, but I always thought it would be very cool to have fair isle swatches that were framed, and hung around the place like art. I think it would be a neat way to incorporate knits into the decor, without just the usual WIPs all over the place. I've been meaning to do it myself, but I'm still just decorating the place with WIPs.

Excellent ideas!
I have managed to save the bottom half of the sweater, so it will have a second life. I just need to bind off the top, fair isle bit, and do what I will with it.
Hopefully updates soon - I've piled my plate high as of late!
I'm glad you could salvage half of it, at least. Can't wait to see what it becomes.
