And finally, the Prepster jacket from the Happy Hooker book. My first crocheted garment. I made it from Wellington Fibre's hand-dyed yarn. It's a little itchy (I was enamoured by the colour and the fact that it was the perfect weight). It's very warm, so should come in handy this fall and winter.

Thank you! I can't wait to wear it :)
Hey, I really like your last few FOs, especially the sweater with the wings. (I know I'm a bit late, but I just found your blog. I'm from the Ottawa SnB.)
Thanks Tara! I've just checked out your blog - it's really good :) Another one to add to my blog reading list.
Thanks salamander! Crochet scared me for a long time. I avoided all patterns that included it (to my own detriment and sadness) :( Then I tried it - not difficult at all! If you can knit, you can crochet :)
That is just way too cute. Wonderful job. It drew my attention in the book too, but I wasn't too sure about it. I think it is a risk to crochet and you made a fabulous garment! Inspiration.
