Perhaps moreso if the yarn was a more flesh-like colour... less green.Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02099840174793186789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26803835.post-76250637431137106772008-06-01T15:33:00.000-04:002008-06-01T15:33:00.000-04:00With that yarn your cables look a litle, erm, vagi...With that yarn your cables look a litle, erm, vagina-y. I'm just sayin'. And if that's what you are going for, great! Vaginas are cool. Like those that commented before me - it just might be the yarn choice.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13658613964862931960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26803835.post-35190733446192540452008-05-30T14:39:00.000-04:002008-05-30T14:39:00.000-04:00I wonder if you can put it on waste yarn and dunk/...I wonder if you can put it on waste yarn and dunk/block what you have already before giving up on it? I've partially blocked things like that before. Personally, I don't see a problem, but *you* have to be happy with it! :-)soknitpickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16168262237286825852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26803835.post-23178173052384012092008-05-30T14:01:00.000-04:002008-05-30T14:01:00.000-04:00I third the opinion of the ladies who commented be...I third the opinion of the ladies who commented before me -- it seems to be the yarn, not the color (which is lovely, btw). But I don't even think it's that bad, especially in the photo of you wearing the WIP. The ribbing seems to be much more defined when stretched a bit -- is it the same case with the cables?Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16273727983110361664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26803835.post-36523147077757310992008-05-30T13:31:00.000-04:002008-05-30T13:31:00.000-04:00I agree with cyn. I think it might just be that SWS is intrinsically cable-devouring. I like it too, but stitch definition is not its strong point.Cynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09625856816988294027noreply@blogger.com
